Sullivan unhappy over Bruce contract situation

Birmingham co-owner David Sullivan has told prospective new owner Carson Yeung his decision not to approve Steve Bruce’s new contract will undermine the confidence of the manager and have a negative effect on the players.

Bruce agreed a new deal with the current board in May but Yeung, who hopes to take full control of Blues by the end of the year, gave a negative response when the contract was presented to him.
