Longford and Drogheda all set for eircom League showdown

Longford Town and Drogheda United go head-to-head in tonight's eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash at Flancare Park, kick-off 7.55pm.

A big crowd is expected in Flancare Park for this televised clash as both sides have important business to attend to at either end of the table.

Ian Ryan, Colin James and Sean Kelly all return to the Longford squad after missing the cup clash as they were cup-tied.

Mark Rutherford is a doubt for Alan Mathews' side and will undergo a late fitness test.

Aidan O'Keefe and Richie Baker are both concerns for Drogheda and boss Paul Doolin will leave his decision as late as possible.

Stuart Byrne is suspended for the league leaders and will miss the trip to the midlands.
