Derry City will be boosted by the return of Pat McCourt to their starting line up as they take on UCD in tonight’s FAI Ford Cup quarter-final clash at the Brandywell, kick-off 7.45pm.

Kevin McHugh and Mark Farren are also likely to start despite the fact that both are carrying knocks.

Sammy Morrow, Mark McChrystal and Alan Moore are still missing for the Candystripes but Derry should have enough fire-power at their disposal as they entertain the injury-plagued Students.

And Derry boss John Robertson knows the Students will provide a tough test, having already defeated City at home earlier in the season.

"It's going to be a tough game. They have a very professional set-up. They train three or four nights a week, play with a 4-5-1 formation and are always difficult to break down," said former Hearts boss Robertson.

"We don't seem to get going in the opening ten or fifteen minutes and against good teams, that can hurt you."
