Reading manager Steve Coppell will ring the changes for tomorrow night’s Carling Cup trip to Swansea.

Striker Dave Kitson is back from a ban to claim a starting place alongside fellow forward Leroy Lita, who has just recovered from a hip injury.

Goalkeeper Adam Federici also starts with fringe men John Halls and Scott Golbourne also hoping to feature. Bobby Convey is set for his first start since February.

Fitness doubts over Nicky Shorey (knee), Graeme Murty (hamstring), Seol Ki-Hyeon (back) and John Oster (ankle) means they are unlikely to be risked, with Ibrahima Sonko (knee) and Glen Little (Achilles) still absent. Michael Duberry may return from a groin injury.

Provisional squad: Federici, Hahnemann, de la Cruz, Halls, Ingimarsson, Bikey, Duberry, Mate, Golbourne, Fae, Cisse, Gunnarsson, Harper, Convey, Hunt, Kitson, Lita, Long, Doyle, Cox, Pearce, Henry.
