Goals from Peter Hutton, Kevin McHugh and Sammy Morrow earned Derry a deserved win at the Brandywell.

Derry started well and were good value for their lead goal that came on 15 minutes.

Darren Kelly helped on Kevin Deery's corner and veteran Peter Hutton headed past Darren Quigley to celebrate the signing of a new contract this week.

Both sides hit the bar before McHugh headed home Derry's second from a Damien Brennan cross on 58 minutes.

Morrow lobbed home the third seven minutes later.
