UCD will try to gain revenge on Shamrock Rovers at Belfield Park tonight in the eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash after Rovers beat the Students 2-0 at Tolka Park in the last meeting between the sides, kick-off 7.45pm.

UCD boss Pete Mahon has a full squad to choose from as skipper Tony McDonnell returns after missing the last game with a head injury.

Ireland Under-21 internationals Shane McFaul and Darren Quigley also return for the Students.

For Rovers, Barry Ferguson is suspended for one game, while Eric McGill and Padraig Amond are both carrying knocks and may miss out.

It will probably be Shamrock Rovers' last visit to Belfield Park as the Students prepare for their move to the Belfield Bowl later in the season and boss Pat Scully knows it's a tricky place to get a result.

"It's a tough place to go to - we'll need to put on a performance if we're going to come away from Belfield with all three points, but that's what we want," said Scully.

"The win in Waterford put us into second place and that's a good a position as we could hope to be in, especially after we had a really bad run back in April.

"Now we have to start chipping away at Drogheda's nine-point lead and narrow that gap. I'll be looking for a very strong performance against UCD."
