Tevez move delayed

Manchester United remain hopeful that Carlos Tevez’s signing will be completed before the weekend despite failing to finalise the deal today.

The Premier League only began looking at the paperwork surrounding signing today because they had to wait until Tevez’s agent Kia Joorabchian had paid West Ham the £2million settlement agreed last week.
