Hornets receive 'Premiership' bid for Bouazza

Watford have received a bid from “a Premiership club” for forward Hameur Bouazza.

Fulham were strongly linked with a £4m offer for the Algeria forward, whom the Hornets value at closer to £5m.

Hornets boss Adrian Boothroyd said: “I can tell you that we had an offer. It wouldn’t be right to say who it was from or how much it was for.

“I would hope that the situation could be resolved. These things happen, and everyone now just wants to move on.”

Bouazza ended last season in excellent form and is keen to return to the Premier League.
