Lua hat-trick hands Pompey win

Lomana LuaLua scored a hat-trick as Portsmouth continued their impressive pre-season form with a 4-1 win at Bournemouth.

Fresh from their Asia Trophy triumph in Hong Kong, Harry Redknapp’s side eased to victory with all five goals coming in the second half.

Niko Kranjcar’s deflected shot put Pompey in front after 49 minutes and LuaLua grabbed his first 14 minutes later.

LuaLua made it 3-0 after 77 minutes and quickly completed his hat-trick before the home side scored a consolation when Brett Pitman was fouled in the area and got up to score from the spot.
