Veteran broadcaster Des Lynam is returning to his Irish roots as the anchor of a new soccer show on the home-grown Setanta Sports network.

The Co Clare man known as the ’Face of Football’ has moved to the satellite and cable channel ahead of its revamped coverage of the English Premier League.
