O'Neill rubbishes Wright-Phillips rumours

Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill has ruled out making a bid for Shaun Wright-Phillips but plans to further strengthen his squad before the new Barclays Premier League season begins.

O’Neill made an inquiry about the Chelsea winger during the January transfer window and has been linked with the former Manchester City player ever since.
