Roy Keane has promised to help Kieran Richardson fulfil the potential Alex Ferguson saw in him.

The 22-year-old England international yesterday completed a £5.5m move from Manchester United to Sunderland after his former team-mate persuaded him his future lay away from Old Trafford.
