Family first for Fowler down under
Robbie Fowler admits his family will be the deciding factor as to whether he makes the move to Australian club Sydney FC.
The former Liverpool and Leeds striker arrived in Sydney yesterday to continue discussions with the A-League sideās officials about becoming their marquee player for this season.
Fowler has also been attracting interest from Cardiff and Port Vale, as well as at least one club in America.
But the 32-year-old, who has four young children, insists any decision regarding who he will play for in the coming campaign will rest with his family.
āI spoke to George (Perry, CEO of Sydney FC) last week and obviously Iām very interested, which is why Iām over here,ā Fowler said in the Herald Sun.
āBut as you probably know Iāve got a young family, so basically Iām over here to see what itās like and see if itās good for them.
āObviously Iām over here to see how it is, then Iāll go and report back and see how they feel.
āBut if Iām happy, theyāre happy and vice versa. So weāll see how it goes.ā
