Captain Kevin Hunt scored his first goal of the season as Stephen Rice's audacious second sealed the points for Bohemians as they regained third place in the Premier Division table against luckless Bray.

Both sides had early chances before Bohs gradually got on top to take a deserved 28th minute lead.

Glen Crowe got in behind the flat Bray defence from Owen Heary's sublime ball over the top.

Crowe looked set to shoot but elected to put over a low cross which was met by the in-rushing Hunt who forced the ball home from just a couple of yards out.

Bray were much the better side in the second half with Alan Cawley's free-kick bringing a terrific save from Brian Murphy before Bohs struck for their killer second goal on 76 minutes.

Little appeared on as Des Byrne's inadvertent pass found its way to Rice who scored with an audacious lob with his back to goal from all of 20 yards.
