An unfortunate own goal by man-of-the-match Colin Healy has left Cork facing an uphill task in Stockholm next Saturday as they had to settle for a draw from their Intertoto Cup second round, first leg tie before 3,000 at Turner's Cross.

With three Irish internationals in the centre of their midfield, Cork started confidently and took the lead on 10 minutes.

The impressive Healy was the architect of the goal, beating three defenders with a run in from the left. Hammarby keeper Erland Hellstroem flapped at the cross and Roy O'Donovan scooped the loose ball to the net for his 17 goal of the season in all competitions.

Hammarby levelled on 54 minutes when Brazilian Paulinho's header from Louay Chanko's free-kick deflected off Healy to wrong-foot keeper Mick Devine and enter the City net.

Hammarby almost stole a win on the night deep into stoppage. Substitute Joachim Jensen struck a free-kick from all of 40 yards which Devine did well to turn round a post.
