Wiltord arrested

Former Arsenal striker Sylvain Wiltord was arrested when he turned up for training with Lyon today.

No reason has been given for the arrest by police but it has been reported that the France international had not turned up at court to answer charges of speeding.

Wiltord, 33, was driven away from Lyon’s training base by police.
