Martyn set for Brandwell return

Derry City midfielder Ciarán Martyn is set to return to the Brandywell next month from Norwegian side Fredrikstad.

Martyn has been on loan at the Norwegian Cup holders but the deal runs out in mid-July and Martyn is expected to return to the Candystripes.

The former UCD player has been out of favour in the last couple of games for FFK and may return to Derry before 10 July in order to be eligible for this season's Champions League qualifier on 17/18 July.

Meanwhile, Darren Kelly and Dave Rogers are rumoured to have submitted transfer requests to leave the Brandywell.

Kelly is said to be looking for a move back to England while Rogers has been linked with St Patrick's Athletic.
