Cork City manager Damien Richardson is hoping Colin Healy and Gareth Farrelly could play a part in next Tuesday’s League Cup clash with Bohemians.

Richardson has a practice match set for Bishopstown tomorrow night for the duo, with an eye on the Bohs game next week.

“I am hoping that Colin and Gareth are going to play a game here in Bishopstown,” said Richardson. “We are going to have a game, maybe an inter-club game.

“And then I am hoping that they are going to play for the U21s in Lifford on Sunday, with a view to being available for the Bohemians game.”

City travel to Longford for tonight’s league game knowing anything less than a win and their 2007 title dream will be an impossibility.

Leaders St Pat’s are 10 points ahead of fifth-placed City, who with two games in hand, can still consider themselves title contenders.

The Rebel Army take on Longford Town in Flancare Park (7.45pm kick-off) without injured duo Darragh Ryan and Brian O’Callaghan.
