Inter: Crespo to stay with us

Hernan Crespo will stay with Inter Milan on loan for another season.

The deal was confirmed by the Italian champions after Chelsea agreed to allow the Argentinian hitman’s loan deal to continue for a further year.

“FC Internazionale have received a fax from Chelsea stating that Argentinian striker Hernan Crespo is free to remain with the Nerazzurri for the second season of his two-year loan deal,” read the club statement.

The 31-year-old told www.inter.it: “I am very happy. Staying at Inter was what I wanted.

“I would like to thank Chelsea first of all for their help, and Inter for confirming their faith in me.”
