Derry flounder in first game without Fenlon

UCD frustrated managerless Derry at Belfield, coming from behind to earn a draw and stretch their unbeaten run to eight games.

Kevin McHugh scored a cracking opening goal to give Derry the lead on 14 minutes.

Gareth McGlynn picked the striker from the right and McHugh turned to unleash a stunning shot to the net from all of 25 yards.

But UCD battled back and were level in first half stoppage time.

Shane McFaul headed the ball forward to find Alan McNally unmarked to volley past Patrick Jennings.
