Chelsea have confirmed that midfielder Steve Sidwell has agreed to join the club on a Bosman-style free transfer from July 1.

Chelsea have confirmed that midfielder Steve Sidwell has agreed to join the club on a Bosman-style free transfer from July 1.

The 24-year-old midfielder has quit Reading after rejecting a new £25,000-per-week, four-year deal.
