Crowe hat-trick steers Bohs to emphatic win

Glen Crowe scored a hat-trick as Bohemians doubled their tally of goals for the season to trounce Longford at Dalymount Park.

Having hit a brace in the League Cup midweek, Crowe maintained his goal rush when putting a dominant Bohemians in front on 22 minutes.

Conor Powell's ball put Crowe in on goal and he shot past Michael Dempsey.

Crowe got his second on 40 minutes when Longford stepped out to play an offside from Kevin Hunt's free-kick.

But Owen Heary nipped in behind to cross for Crowe to finish.

John Paul Kelly ended the game as a contest with a third on 52 minutes, heading home another Heary cross.

Crowe got his hat-trick on 61 minutes from a Stephen Rice cross before Rice added the fifth in the final minute.
