Fergie set to ring changes

Alex Ferguson is expected to make a host of changes for Manchester United’s trip to Chelsea tomorrow.

What has for months been billed as a Barclays Premiership title decider has now turned into a dead rubber, with United officially crowned champions after Chelsea’s draw at Arsenal at the weekend.

So Ferguson will now take a number of senior members, almost certainly including Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, out of the firing line to ensure they remain fresh to face the Stamford Bridge outfit in the FA Cup Final on May 19.
