Bolton's Lee seeks general manager
Sammy Lee is aiming to recruit a general manager instead of an assistant as he seeks to take Bolton forward following the departure of Sam Allardyce.
The new recruit will work alongside the coaching staff and the medical team.
Lee takes charge of the side for the first time tomorrow against West Ham at Upton Park.
He said: âI felt that I did not quite need an assistant manager. What I prefer would be a general manager, myself and three first-team coaches under me, Jimmy Phillips, Ricky Sbragia and Gary Speed plus goalkeeper coach ( Fred Barber).
âAll the medical people will remain in place because we feel we have a great back-up staff.â
