Wenger fined £2,500 after Carling Cup comments

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been fined £2,500 (€3,700) and severely censured by a Football Association disciplinary commission.

Wenger had denied a charge of improper conduct and/or bringing the game into disrepute in relation to media comments about an assistant referee following the Carling Cup final, but the commission found the charge to be proved.
