'Suspicious package' sent to Ferguson

Police were called to Manchester United's training ground yesterday after a mystery substance, believed to be intended for Alex Ferguson, was sent to Carrington.

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed they carried out an operation at the ground but were later able to confirm that the substance was non-toxic.
