AZ edge three-way title thriller

AZ Alkmaar moved into pole position in the race to win the Eredivisie today after defending champions PSV Eindhoven slipped up once more.

Ronald Koeman‘s PSV started the day two points clear of AZ and Ajax but that lead has evaporated and the league enters its final round next weekend with all three teams sitting on 72 points – but AZ have the best goal difference.
