Phil ‘Biscuits’ Harrington will be back on the bench for tonight’s Setanta Sports Cup clash with Dungannon Swifts at Turner’s Cross.

The club’s specialist goalkeeping coach last played up in Drogheda in the league last August when he deputised for Mick Devine in a 1-0 away win. Tonight, Welshman ‘Biscuits’ will act as cover for reserve keeper Mark McNulty, who comes in for first choice Mick Devine.

Cork will rest players like Roy O’Donovan, Joe Gamble, Sean Kelly and Devine for tonight’s TV clash (8.05pm).

O’Donovan and Gamble are on yellow cards and are rested with a view to the away semi-final against Linfield at the end of the month.

Dungannon Swifts are missing defenders Ryan McCloskey for personal reasons and Johnny Montgomery, on a one-match ban.

Cork will lodge an appeal today on behalf of Colin Healy and Gareth Farrelly after FIFA blocked them from playing under the three-club rule until July 1. Cork, who are prepared to attend a personal hearing in Zurich, will cite EU employment regulations.
