Fox, Tresson concerns for Wanderers
Bray Wanderers and Shamrock Rovers go head-to-head at the earlier-than-usual kick-off time of 5pm this afternoon at the Carlisle Grounds.
Stephen Fox and Colm Tresson are both injury concerns for Wanderers, while keeper Chris O'Connor is suspended.
John Broderick is on the mend and should return over the next fortnight.
Boss Eddie Gormley wants to improve on last week's performance.
He said: "I was disappointed with the start we had; we were still in the dressing room for the first 15 minutes and the game was lost at that stage.
"We did fairly well afterwards and created a few good chances, but the game was lost after 10 minutes. The goal we got came a little too late.
"It would have been interesting if we had scored earlier in the second half."
Rovers are still without skipper Aidan Price, Danny O'Connor, Andy Myler and Paul Shiels who will all be missing for the next couple of weeks, but at least the Hoops came through Tuesday's defeat to Bohs without any new injuries.
"Nothing's changed," said Hoops boss Pat Scully. "It will be at least 2-3 weeks before Aidan, Danny or Andy will be fit. And it's going to take a little longer before Paul will be back.
"On the positive side, Dave and Eric McGill are just back and in training, while Ger O'Brien and Tadhg Purcell both got a good 90 minutes on Tuesday against Bohs."
Despite losing last Tuesday's big Dublin derby by conceding two late goals, Scully is upbeat about the Hoops' performance against Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
"It was very disappointing to lose that game," he admited. "We played very well in the first-half, played some really good football and caused them an awful lot of problems.
"But in the second-half we played too deep, made a couple of mistakes, and our composure on the ball could've been better at times. But we still looked comfortable.
"Basically, we gave them a couple of goals. As far as I'm concerned they didn't win, we gave them the three points."
