Roy O'Donovan continued where he left off in Portadown on Monday with another two goals to leave Longford rooted to the foot of the table.

Having scored a hat-trick at Shamrock Park in the Setanta Sports Cup, O'Donovan wasted no time in putting Cork in front after just nine minutes; racing through onto Joe Gamble's pass to shoot past Shay Kelly.

The in-form striker added his second eleven minutes later when again Gamble played a part with O'Donovan curling home delightfully from the edge of the area.
