Brennan doubt for Derry

Derry City will probably be without Killian Brennan take on Drogheda United at the Brandywell tonight and a win would put City top of the tough Group 1, kick-off 7.45pm.

City will also have to do without Gary Beckett while Drogheda will be boosted by the return of Jason Gavin to the heart of the United defence after sitting out the 0-0 league game against Bohemians on Friday.

Richie Baker also returns from suspension, while boss Paul Doolin must wait and see if striker Glen Fitzpatrick is fit to travel.

Tony Grant replaced the injured Fitzpatrick after 70 minutes on Friday night, although Eamon Zayed is another option that Doolinn may opt for.

United will need some sort of result at the Brandywell to stay in touch in Group 1, which Linfield tops with four points.
