Celtic boss Gordon Strachan has launched a defence of his captain Neil Lennon after the midfielder’s physique was subject to ridicule by Graeme Souness.

The former Rangers manager was a studio pundit during television coverage of Celtic’s Champions League tie with Milan on Wednesday and, along with Holland legend Ruud Gullit, laughed when midfielder Lennon took his shirt off at the end of the match – which the Parkhead side lost 1-0 after extra-time.
