Leeds land Michalik

Leeds have signed Bolton defender Lubomir Michalik on a month-long loan deal.

The Slovakia international, 23, could make his debut for the Whites in their vital home clash with fellow Championship strugglers Luton on Saturday, and will be available for the five games after that.

Under the current arrangement, Michalik would play his final match for Dennis Wise’s side at Colchester on April 9.

Michalik has yet to start a Premiership match for Bolton and manager Sam Allardyce is keen for him to experience regular first-team football in the English game.
