McCarthy returns for Rovers

Blackburn’s FA Cup super sub Benni McCarthy was restored to his side’s starting line-up for the Lancashire derby against Bolton at a wet and windswept Reebok Stadium today.

The South African striker, who struck a late wonder-goal to sink Arsenal in midweek, replaced Shabani Nonda while in boss Mark Hughes’ only other change, David Dunn came in for Tugay.
