Boro wait for Xavier news

Middlesbrough defender Abel Xavier will undergo a late fitness test ahead of Tuesday’s FA Cup fifth-round replay with West Brom at The Hawthorns.

Xavier is a doubt after missing Saturday’s 2-1 Barclays Premiership victory at home to Reading with a back injury.

Midfielder Fabio Rochemback remains sidelined with a thigh injury.
