Cahill fit for Derby

Tim Cahill will be fit for the Merseyside derby but Everton will be missing striker Andrew Johnson.

Cahill had an injury scare during a friendly with Bournemouth at the weekend but the Australian midfielder has been declared fit, as has Portuguese defender Nuno Valente.

However Johnson will not have recovered in time from his sprained ankle to face Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Scottish international James McFadden is expected to be back in two months after undergoing a successful operation on a broken bone in his foot.
