Preston's Nash wants decision over his future
Preston goalkeeper Carlo Nash has urged the club to make a decision over his future after Barclays Premiership side Fulham expressed an interest in signing him.
North End manager Paul Simpson denied reports of a £500,000 (€760,000) bid from the Cottagers for the 33-year-old shot-stopper but confirmed an agent had made contact to inform the Lilywhites of Fulham‘s interest.
Nash, who has been ever-present for the Deepdale outfit this season, has made it clear he wants the matter resolved as soon as possible.
“It is up to the club now, Fulham have made the offer,” he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
“I am just hoping they can open talks and negotiate and everything is sorted out sooner rather than later. This is not doing me or my family any good.”
