No approach for Scots job - McLeish

Former Rangers manager Alex McLeish has confirmed he has not been approached by the Scottish Football Association to replace Walter Smith as national coach.

Smith ended a successful two-year spell as Scotland head coach this week when he accepted an offer to take charge of his former club Rangers for the second time.
