Teymourian hoping for Bolton chance
Bolton’s Iran international Andranik Teymourian is hoping his two-goal show in the FA Cup will propel him into league action.
The 23-year-old midfielder has taken time to settle following his arrival from Abu Moslem in the summer.
He showed he was getting close to his best form with a brace against League One Doncaster at the weekend.
Teymourian has been on the fringes this season but his all-action display has given manager Sam Allardyce food for thought.
Andranik’s performance helped Bolton reach the fourth round and set up a match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
“I would love to get in the first team on a regular basis and show the fans more of what I can do,” he told www.bwfc.co.uk
“It was nice to start the game and even better to score two goals. Of course I want to play in the Premiership regularly but I know just how tough the league is. I am still adapting to playing football in this country but I believe I am getting there.”
