Jewell waiting for Ellington update

Wigan manager Paul Jewell should know within the next 48 hours if a deal can be agreed with West Brom for Nathan Ellington.

The Latics tabled a bid on New Year’s Eve for the Baggies striker, believed to be around £2m (€3m).
