No changes likely for United

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson is expected to name an unchanged line-up for tomorrow’s trip to Aston Villa as his team look for a return to winning ways.

Although disappointed at last weekend’s defeat to West Ham, Ferguson was pleased with the overall performance and is likely to place his faith in the same starting 11 as the Red Devils open their busy festive programme.

Patrice Evra (calf) remains doubtful, while Alan Smith is still not being considered as he battles for full fitness.
