McManus out for Hoops

Celtic defender Stephen McManus has been ruled out of the Bank of Scotland Premier League trip to Dunfermline on Sunday.

The Scotland international aggravated a long-standing groin problem during the Champions League defeat at FC Copenhagen and will join Gary Caldwell (knee) on the sidelines.

Darren O’Dea, 19, will now partner Bobo Balde in defence for the trip to East End Park.

Shaun Maloney (ankle) is doubtful while Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink (hamstring) is still out.
