Martin O’Neill is debating whether to recall midfielder Lee Hendrie from his successful loan spell with Championship outfit Stoke.

The Villa boss is hoping to have Stiliyan Petrov and Gavin McCann back in contention for the home Barclays Premiership clash with Middlesbrough on Saturday, but Hendrie remains on stand-by.
