Blackburn and Tottenham appeal red cards

Blackburn and Tottenham have both appealed against the red cards issued by referee Phil Dowd during yesterday’s 1-1 draw at Ewood Park.

The Football Association have confirmed that Blackburn have lodged an appeal against the straight red card shown to Tugay for a professional foul on Hossam Ghaly.
