Manager Stuart Pearce made two changes to the side held to a goalless draw by Newcastle last week, with Bernardo Corradi and top scorer Giorgios Samaras replacing Paul Dickov and Trevor Sinclair.

Fulham boss Chris Coleman brought back Senegal midfielder Papa Bouba Diop inplace of Tomas Radzinski in his only change to the side held by Portsmouth at Fratton Park seven days ago.
