Steve Staunton's Irish squad is due to assemble today ahead of Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier against San Marino at Lansdowne Road.

Strikers Kevin Doyle and Robbie Keane will be linking up with the rest of the squad after scoring in yesterday's Premiership fixture between their two clubs.

However, Stephen Carr and Steven Ireland will be absent after withdrawing with an ankle injury and a virus respectively.

Elsewhere, Staunton's advisor Bobby Robson is also back with the squad after his recent bout of ill health, while Shay Given also looks to set to start on Wednesday after his stomach injury.
