Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink hauled Charlton level five minutes before the break in his side’s Carling Cup fourth round tie at Chesterfield.

Colin Larkin fired home a spectacular goal to put the Coca-Cola League One giant-killers ahead after three minutes to raise the prospect of another remarkable upset.

But Hasselbaink produced a quality strike from 20 yards in the 40th minute to claim his second goal of the season and ensure the sides were level at the break.
