Valente back for Everton

Defender Nuno Valente is back in Everton’s squad for the trip to Fulham, having returned to training after a groin injury.

But whether the Portugal international is considered for a place in the starting line-up depends on how many of boss David Moyes’ squad are still suffering from the virus which has been rife in the camp.

Moyes is still without injured players Alessandro Pistone, Tony Hibbert, David Weir, Paddy Boyle and Gary Naysmith.
