Good news for Gudjohnsen

Barcelona look to have avoided a potential striker crisis after it was revealed Eidur Gudjohnsen´s ankle injury is not as bad as initially feared.

The Iceland international was carried off on a stretcher in the second half of last night´s Champions League match against former club Chelsea, after landing awkwardly on his left ankle.
