Late winner for Aberdeen

Aberdeen 2-1 Hibernian

Aberdeen 2-1 Hibernian

A dramatic late goal two minutes into injury time by Scott Severin handed Aberdeen a hard-fought victory over 10-man Hibernian at Pittodrie.

The Dons midfielder lashed a powerful drive from 25 yards past Zbigniew Malkowski right at the death, to add to former Dundee United striker Lee Miller’s first goal for the Dons.

Miller’s 55th-minute strike cancelled out Chris Killen’s opener shortly after the restart, before the New Zealand international was sent off after receiving cautions early in the second half.
